Does anyone know if the Y belt can be centered
I don’t know for sure, but it looks like the pulley wheel’s angle to the belt can be changed by adjusting the positions of the black bolts in the white slots.
The belt will move to the side that is further away from the rails (the side with more tension). If you get the axle properly perpendicular to the Y axis, the belt should run centrally.
Belts behave the opposite way to ropes/cables because of their width. Belts ride up onto the largest diameter, or higher tension, part of a belt pulley.
It does look like the left hand side is slightly tighter than the right hand side in your photo. That would make the belt tend towards the left hand side.
