A1 Z Axis Grinding Sound

Hi!
I’m fairly new to 3D printing, so this might be a very easy fix for someone more experienced than me.
The Z Axis of my printer started making a grinding noise, and it’s gotten progressively louder, I have oiled the screws.
The printer is three months old and has about 110 hours of printing under its belt.

I have had the head crash into prints when using the print by objects function, so that may have been the cause? I also have large buildups up molten filament on the outside of my nozzle when printing with petg (just thought i’d throw that in there, might help)

Edit: The printing still works, I’m just worried.

Here’s a video of the Z axis moving.

huh i saw the video i cant hear anything

i think i had the same problem in my first a1 mine was like the belt was skiping and ive sended it back to bl and bl gave me another one

Like, you can’t hear any audio or you can’t hear the grinding noise? When i checked in on the video with my headphones i couldn’t hear the grinding until i had turned up the volume quite a bit.

i think the grinding sound is too low

Hm, strange.
Maybe it just isn’t a problem and I’m overreacting.
Thanks for your help!
