A1Mini’s and now the A1 rebooting at unzip of file

My older A1mini started rebooting at the point in time when the file was being unzipped, and would go perfectly on the 2nd attempt, 2 weeks later my 2nd A1 mini is doing the same thing (not every print btw) and now today my A1 is doing the same thing. All in a space of around 3 weeks, all machines with vastly different hours on the clock. Only thing from stock is that all three were given is a scandisk 32gig Ultra plus card on the same day a few months back. So firstly, this can’t be a machine problem, there’s no chance all three at the same time(basically) have the same fault, and true it could be the scandisk cards, but unlikely that all three are failing simultaneously, so this has to be a software glitch thats being introduced to all three. Anyone else have any ideas?

I wouldn’t rule out the cards.
Myself, I stay away from Sandisk. I had issues years ago & have stayed away ever since. I usually buy Kingston cards, I have been trying out PNY lately.

I’ll put back the stock cards they came with and see what they do.

After putting back the original SSD cards back into the units, all the problems with rebooting has ceased. All working well. Seems the Scandisc cards are not compatible with the A1 series.

It sounds frustrating to have multiple devices acting up simultaneously. Given the common factor is the SanDisk card, there might be an issue with the card itself, such as a corrupted file or compatibility problem. Try reformatting the card and ensuring it’s using the correct file system. Alternatively, test with a different card to see if the issue persists. Also, check if there’s any firmware update available for your devices, as this could resolve potential glitches. If the problem continues, it might be worth reaching out to the manufacturer for further support.

Thanks for your reply, but obviously there’s a compatibility problem, all three with the same type of card were failing at the same time, and that had all been reformatted a few times. Putting the original card that came with the machines solved all three’s problems. The only outcome now is to not use that particular card. All printers are up to date.
