A2L Extruder Clicking Noise (Not Skipping, Not Retractions)

Does anyone else have this issue? The extruder makes a rhythmic clicking noise. I’m using Bambu PETG Basic on the default flowrate. There is no skipping as the print is coming out fine. It’s not a gear backlash noise from retractions as I get the noise on vase mode prints. Listen to the two videos below:

In case someone else has the same problem: replacing the extruder assembly fixed the issue. The new extruder seems to have much less backlash between the gears than the one that came with my printer (not that that was necessary the cause of the clicking, just an observation). Shoutout to support for sending out a replacement so quickly.

My A2L has started doing the very same thing! It clicks and makes the same noises when extruding or especially when purging. I’ve checked for clogs, cleaned the nozzle, checked the extruder for clogs or wear but nothing. I’ve contacted Bambu support and I hope they get me a replacement aswell as the noise is annoying. Like yours my prints don’t seem to be affected but the noise always makes me anxious. I hope mine is the same issue and not something worse.

Feel free to send a link of this forum post to support if it helps

Oh you bet I will, thanks very much!
