New A2L Firmware Available for Public Beta Testing!
We’re excited to announce that firmware V01.01.00.38 for the A2L is now available through our Public Beta Program.
How to Join the Beta
To access the beta firmware, simply join the Beta Firmware Program via the Bambu Handy app under Me → Beta Firmware Program.
Once enrolled, the update will be pushed to your device gradually.
Want to Switch Back?
You can leave the Beta Program at any time by disabling the option in the app and installing the latest official firmware version.
New Features:
- Added Print-Then-Cut function. With Bambu Handy v3.26.0 or later, Bambu Suite v1.4.0.00 or later, and the Cutter Module, you can first print a flat design on regular paper, then use the Bambu Handy app to capture and recognize the contour via your phone’s camera—for high-precision edge cutting. Ideal for stickers, labels, greeting cards, and other flat creations that call for clean, accurate edges.
Improvements:
- Improved top-surface ironing quality, reducing under-extrusion and surface unevenness.
- Reduced false HMS alerts in certain scenarios for a smoother experience.
- Optimized fan speed control to lower noise levels.
- With Bambu Studio v2.8.2.61 or later, improved guidance for non-first-layer thermal preconditioning settings, making them easier to use.
- Added quick access to Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and the User Experience Improvement Program in the Settings menu.
