Able to control the printer during a clog

So I just ran into a problem with my X1C where it thought there was a clog in the extruder when it changed out the filament. Basically it thought it was reading filament when it pulled out what it could. A quick and easy way for the user to test if it is a clog or something else is by simply feeding filament in to see if it really is a clog or whatever. Basically on a X1C and P1S disconnect the tube from the back and feed in whatever filament until it stops. Then tell the extruder to push the filament into the hotend, And then retract that filament, take it out of the back, reconnect the tube, and there you go. If it shows it is clear then you are good to go. If not, then you need to look deeper into the problem.

The problem here is when I get this error I can’t control anything. Meaning I have to kill the entire print.

My suggest is to allow us to control the printer during these moments so we can quickly do tricks like this to fix the problem instead of having to kill the print.
