About the Bambu Lab X1C category

So what exactly do I need to be able to post a question?

I thought forum is just for this, to ask questions and get answers. Simply browsing topics that are not helpful with my problem does not help.

Cris.

Hey!
Also mostly looking to earn some trust or whatever to be allowed to post about my X1C seemingly having forgotten the size of its build plate. The 90 degree line at the back of the plate at the start of every print has started being laid down partially outside the plate. Simultaneously, I have started getting weird failures where it seems the nozzle after a while knocks the print over really hard, even tearing apart brims. So not sure if these are connected issues, but it’s both puzzling and very annoying.
(Sorry for the transparent PLA used in this picture, but you can still see how it’s outside the plate) edit: wait why doesn’t the picture show up?

I need to create a new post regarding what happen to hot end nozzle. (Literally snapped in half during a print) wanting to know how I can prevent this or is this a normal wear ? How long does a nozzle usually last.

Also can’t open a new topic. Brand new user from today!
My problem is I can’t print with Bambu PLA-CF. It shows in Bambu Studion but I can’t select it into the print.
There’s another older topic that describes similar problems but that was resolved by specifying a 0.4 Nozzle size. Mine already had that specified.
I’m missing something - any help appreciated

My AMS didn’t automatically recognize my PLACF automatically either.

In Bambi Studio I had to go into the filament list and add the profile from the list, then when loading the filament manually selecting the type in the settings.

After this my printer recognizes the spool.

I’ve also noticed most existing models will have other filaments specified in the setup. I’ll usually just remove all of them by clicking the minus icon then clicking on the name of the filament and then selecting PLACF. Also if you want to get specific about what part to apply the filament to slick on the objects toggle and you can select each object and assign filaments there.

Sometimes I get warnings about print plates not being recommended for use with PLACF, especially if using the engineering plate but you can set the bed temperature to the default the cool plate uses )I think 45°c.

Hope this helps. Let me know!

To clarify I know you said you couldn’t select the PLACF. This was kinda counterintuitive to me as well and had to click on the filament I wanted to replace from settings then select PLACF from the dropdown there. No need to remove the unused filaments from the settings as they will just be ignored in the slice.

Hi everyone.
Can anyone tell me why my Kingston 256gn micro sd is not showing on the BambuLab X1 carbon printer?
Thanks

Hello!
I’m also new to the forum, I have just bought a X1-Carbon. I am having some issue with the print and I was hoping to get some guidance on the forum… but I can’t post a new thread. I did find the button (after scrolling to the end of the section) but I’m not allowed to post it, so… let’s hope I get the authorization quickly.

You basically have to spend some time going through the forum then you’ll get an email from them saying you can post

Like everyone else here, I’m trying to earn the ability to post a topic, and I’m doing it, apparently, by wasting everyone else’s time with a post unrelated to the topic at hand. My apologies.

I would be nice to just have the basics available for new users. Or where to fine the information.

Replying to see if it gives me the new post button

Hello everyone,

Recently, I have been experiencing spaghetti failures in my prints more frequently. I am attaching a video of the latest one. What do you think could be causing this?

Edit: apparently, I can’t attach neither video or picture of it meh

Thanks, I would like to be able to post, thanks for your help

It’s like this on the lightburn forums as well. Rather difficult to get going before you can even begin to post your own question. Not like the BBS days of old.

Viewed a few forums, viewed a few posts. Liked a few posts, but still can’t post. Should we just direct our questions to the customer service portion instead until the forum allows for new users to post a question?

Perhaps a new users section could be made for this very situation?

Hi there, How much time?
Hi Again i just need to fill the 25 chars

You have to complete badges Bambu Lab Community Forum< i got my button with 4 badges

Appears I am here to do the same as everyone else.

May as well write my challenge in case someone picks it up before raising a new topic.

I am having X1 Carbon issues - I have found myself in a ā€˜spiral’

In short A2 had an issue and somehow backed all of its filament out mid way through the print. I was using some generic PLA at the time running a test, but the print was good. For some reason it just decided to back itself out and there is no more filament in the line (checked) and A1, A3 and A4 are just sitting loaded.

The X1 somehow things that A2 is still loaded, and I am stuck - I cant unload it via Studio because it as it starts to ā€˜pull back’ it thinks its broken its filament. I then get stuck in a error spiral. I cant send a print to it as it wants to unload the material. If I kill the power and then try and get a print happening, it still thinks its loaded and wont try and take it in.

Any help?

Frustrating to wait… Especially when people need help.
