About the Bambu Lab X1C category

I can’t make a new topic yet (there is no button to find) so let me tell what is bothering me:

My nozzle taps the printbed at each point in the bedlevel procedure.
I don’t think that is right.
How can I solve this.

I don’t dare printing yet while this problem is appearing now.

lol - I guess I have to reply to random stuff to be able to post…

Answering here as well, to get another answer under my belt. Am I trusted yet?

Maybe I post my question / complaint here instead.

I just bought a X1 Carbon; I’m fairly new to 3D printing, and I love the device for making it a bit easier for me to get into this! The software seems to be quite odd though. When I start bambu studio, and want to access the content of the sd card that I put into the printer, it tells me that I can’t browse the SD card content when the printer is in LAN only mode… WHAT? @Bambulab, you can’t be serious about this. Why is it so hard to browse that sd card when I am not logged into your server? Software-wise, this is a complete fail.

Concerning the 3 prints I have made so far and their quality, I am very happy though, so not selling the printer yet

Hello from Atlanta! Got a X1c

me too  im trying to find out how to reset all the user preset’s in the slicer.

I cannot find any information as to why I cannot make a post.

Short answer is you need to reach Trust Level 1-- Basic

You should have been notified when you joined, but looks like that was months ago. Just read a few more topics.

ok, thank you for the help

Had my carbon for over a year, its been perfect the whole time. Given that Bambu have provided upgrade kits to older versions I hope that some of what comes with the next Bambu units can be used to upgrade the X1-C. Specifically a dual head extruder to quick swap between support and build filaments.

I have just received my brand new Bambu Lab X1-Carbon.

The unit’s print quality is fine; however, once the print runs for about 45 minutes, the Unit just randomly restarts/power cycles itself. You can resume the print once it boots back up.

The longer the print takes, the frequency at which its power cycles increases. Ultimately resulting in it running for about 3 mins and then power cycling and having to push the continue print button. Anything over 60 mins is unachievable unless you want to sit and watch the printer just to push the resume button.

Again, I would like to voice the “functionality” of this forum; I understand trust levels and how they work; however, restricting new users to posting new topics is absurd. People usually only join a forum when they experience an issue; however, they can’t get any help on this specific forum.

I have raised a support ticket and uploaded multiple logs. The kids are gutted they thought they would get to play with a 3D printer all weekend. However, it turns out not, and I can’t even post in a forum to see if there are any simple fixes.

Upload some kind of photo for an avatar.
I got trust level 1 from that.

In a reply window type “@discobot

Hi! To find out what I can do, say @discobot display help.

moin ich habe mir die texturierten Plates bestellt die sind heute gekommen und direkt ausprobiert jetzt habe ich alles ausprobiert was ich gefunden habe und jedes mal löst sich der druck von der platte was kann ich dagegen machen?

Could you elaborate a bit more? Is the print not sticking to the plate?

figured it out. dont know if there was an update, but at the bottom, you see a plus sign, click it, and then just make a new section.

I realize this is Oct 2024 and some of these replies are from 2023, but for me I just spent $1500 plus on a new Bambu printer. I would not expect to be so locked down in the forum.

As an experienced forum person, I know to search first and only post when you can’t find what maybe a good match for your issue or concern. I’m in that state now. I cannot find any items that seem to apply and want to ask a question, but cannot figure out how to post a new topic.

Perhaps you missed the Bambu Community forum read me?

Did all that! I spent several hours today reading all kinds of posts. Replying to a number of them.

I did read the readme.

Your trust level increased to “Basic” user 20 hours ago (an hour after your original post) which allows you to post new threads and add links/pictures.
