Just because I don’t see an answer and maybe I am looking at it incorrectly but how do you create a new post in the forum. All I see is “Reply” I don’t see any other button. Is that the only option that is available to ask questions by pushing reply in a topic or can you start a new one. When I first created an account, it said there would be a “New Topic” button. Any help would be appreciated.
New members have to build their trust level. Probably to keep spamming down, and get people to search for existing solutions before posting the exact same problem.
Since i cant make a new topic, i only have one question:
I printed an object with ironing enabled, but I’d like the top surface to match the smoothness and reflectivity of the objects bottom layer. Right now there’s still a visible difference.
The bottom layer is printed directly on the smooth PEI plate.
Does anyone know which slicer settings can get the top layer finish as close as possible to the smooth PEI bottom surface?

Hello, I’m currently in the process of rebuilding a P1S that I purchased broken. It is missing the bracket that secures the z-belt tensioner to the bottom of the case. Does anyone know a good resource to find this part? Bambu do not carry it in their spare parts shop. I actually attempted to 3D model and print one myself and got pretty close, but it seems like there’s some geometry to the bottom that I’m missing as it doesn’t secure properly. I can’t find a photo of the bottom to reference for improvements to the model. Thanks!
Any way to do a temporary fix while I wait for my new front housing assembly to come? The pin connections are bad on it … 2 on the end lost the black tips…
Having weird ribbing issues with my p1s
Any seasoned P1S abs printers have any initial setup tips for printing abs to ensure proper bed adhesion and any other issues. Currently running textured pei plate and im using standard bambu labs abs filament and settings, it’s not super common but occasionally on “smaller” prints ill run into some bed adhesion problems. I have a thermometer in the enclosure and it’s staying at around 32C should i be increasing that temp and how? I appreciate the help in advance!
Preheat the chamber with the heat bed. Set bed temp at max, wait 20 minutes or so until the chamber is at least 45 °C before starting the print, higher is better. Without insulating the printer, chamber temp will probably top out around 50 °C.
Assuming the plate has been cleaned with detergent and water, of course.
Thank you ill give it a shot. You mentioned insulating the printer, any suggestions for that? Im slowly “insulating” it by adding a cap to the hole on the top and an enclosed chute.
I have not yet tried to insulate my X1C. With preheating, it has been fine as-is for ASA, PC, and PA.
Did you find the root cause of your issues? If you did I am curious about what you found.
Hi everyone, I received a “Y-axis resonance frequency low. The timing belt may be loose” error before starting my print. I ran it anyway, and mid-print, the front cover of the toolhead fell off, causing a failure. The cover is now hanging by its wires, and the print is ruined. Does anyone have an idea how this happened?
Something I think would be excellent on the P1S is if we could also see how many seconds left on the print, as on live notifications on Bambu Studio it shows you, but on the printer it only says how many hours and minutes! Why can’t we see how long we have left? In addition, sometimes the printer adds time onto the print but doesn’t actually say why? Maybe HMS or the app, or the printer could say?
hi guys i need help. p2s with ams2pro costs 50k in my country.p1s with ams2pro costs 40k. for comparrison i can buy 10-13 pla filaments with 10k, the question is should i buy p2s and spend another money for filaments or should i buy p1s and filaments with 10k money difference. like is it gonna worth spending that much on p2s?

I’m thinking of buying the P2S, but I have very limited space to the sides. Is it possible to mount the spool at the top, or left side, without modification? I do not want an AMS.

I’m having this discussion with myself, too.
If you have the money, I think the 2 is just worth it:
- better camera (not sure how good the AI fail detection is);
- better sensors (e.g. tangle);
- better screen (easier to control AMS?);
- better nozzle replacement (also compatible with future/better models)
As you say, the 40% difference in price would buy 7 spools of filament (12 at discount prices).

I’m having a similar problem. I bought a P1s in January, it has worked for less than 14 days in the 6 months I’ve had it. I’ve had a technical support ticket open the entire time, and they keep sending me “try the instructions in this wiki link” but so far nothing has actually worked to get the other working again. I’m half way through it’s warrant period, and I’ve not been able to use the other for almost all the time I’ve had it.
Has anyone made the mistake of purchasing the wrong hot end only to realise the error after the 14day return period?
I’ve mistakenly brought a p2s hardened steel hot end but I’ve got a p1s so not compatible, at about £80 it’s a pricy error, am I best trying to re sell it on eBay or something and maybe take a loss?
