In this section, you can discuss anything related to the Bambu Lab AMS
How do I submit a design change request for AMS unit?
why is AMS making this tower of colors? Isn’t it enough to pump it into this garbage bin in due time?
because now when I change from A to B at a height of 5 cm, it makes no sense to make me a tower from A to 5 cm, and then at h = 5 cm it would spit out this 3cm transition and that’s it
even if I had 2 colors ranging from 5-6 cm, I would only do it on 1 cm
If only Bambu would do this…Bambu could sell RFID stickers for AMS users. The sticker would have a unique ID preprogrammed on the sticker. The user is prompted to affiliate the sticker to a spool. Type, weight, color, etc. Once the RFID is affiliated to the spool, the AMS and Bambu Labs would track usage based on the files that it was used on. It could be extended to predict filament runout time and the amount left. Bambu sorta already does this but could make a considerable profit from selling a simple sheet of RFID stickers that could be used on any spool. Sure Bambu uses this to sell their filament but it is not a huge selling point. Bambu could sell the RFID feature to other vendors to incorporate into their spools. The marketing profitability is HUGE! With the right coder and engineer, the RFID could be encrypted to make it specific to Bambu.
Nice to see this article. Thanks for sharing your necessary information
So i have been having issues with the 3rd slot on the AMS when i go to put a new spool in. The ams pulls the filament in but then the filament gets stuck on something after the feeder tube. i have to push it through before it will proceed to read the rifd chip on the spool. Any ideas of what is causing the filament to get stuck?
