I have been happily printing with my X1C for 600 hours and have decided its time to purchase an AMS.
For you current AMS owners, what extra parts should I stock? Is it worth getting the AMS maintenance kit that is on sale right now? Thanks!

If you have problems with your AMS , possibly.
824h on printer and AMS. So far, I did not need anything from the maintenance kit.
In my case, filament gets stuck further down the line only during experimentation with minor mods or unusual filament subject to heat creep.
Same here. I have two AMSs. They have over 1600hrs printer time. No part changes yet. I just bought the maintenance kit just incase.
Same. The ams parts are pretty solid. Youll eventually want new ptfe tube inside.
Even with jams every so often or the random tangle, the gears still look great here.
8ams units, 0 breaks.
Thanks for the feedback everyone.
I’ll be picking up some PTFE tubes but I’ll skip the maintenance kit.
