ABS print issues

Tried my first ABS print on the X1C. Generally ok, but small features are broken:

I used default ABS settings. What could resolve this? Lower speed?

ABS is a nightmare to print.

It was engineered in 1948 for injection molding. It really should be avoided for printing, especially for large models or ones with fine details. It shrinks too much to bridge well and is difficult to keep to stick…

It also has a very wide specification. So different blends/brands vary massively in their behavior.

If you need high quality, go for PLA or PLA+. If you need toughness, go for PETG, if you need hardness or high temps go for PC

Thank you; I will try printing with PETG instead.
