Accelerometer Issues

A couple of weeks ago, I got a weird error out of the blue, “temperature malfunction” after a few minutes into a print. I tried researching it, but there was nothing on it. I thought it would have been the nozzle since I had a bad clog before that. I had cleared the clog. It printed fine for one print before this message appeared. Then it would not allow me to print, it appeared sooner in a print. So I replaced the nozzle with a whole assembled hotend. But it now showed the HMS_0300_0F00_0001_0001: The accelerometer data is unavailable error.

I contacted support about this and they believed it was the tool head cable according to the log files. Today I received the replacement tool head cable and proceed to replace it. But I’m still getting the error. I had tripled checked everything to make sure I installed it correctly, and that all cables were secured and plugged in correctly. But nothing?

The usb-c cable have had problems and this is why they wanted to see if that would fix it the next step is they will most likely send you a new accelerometer people have had these fail also.

Hi,

Please send this info in the ticket, and my colleagues will solve the problem.
If the cable did not solve it, then it’s probably the TH board.

Thanks

I have a similar problem. On Sunday (14 May 2023) I installed the new Toolhead Cable (sent by Bambulab) a Complete Hardened Steel Hotend and a Hardened Steel Extruder. Tested after installation. The test gave an error “HMS_0300_0F00_0001_0001: The accelerometer data is unvalid”. I checked the connectors, but the error persisted. I replaced the old Toolhead Cable, but the error persisted. I installed another new Toolhead Cable, but the error persisted. I then submitted a ticket to support and am waiting for a reply.

Any reply back yet ?

Unfortunately, no. Support has requested photos and log file.

I have just received a reply from Support. They will send a new front board and tool head cable. That is absolutely fair!

They have replied back to me. They sent a replacement for a tool head cable and board. But for me, that did not fix the issue. I made sure to follow installment directions correctly and made sure all connections where secured. Still nothing T~T

I have, they have sent a TH board, but I am still getting the error.

Maybe roll back the firmware and see what happens.

How would you do that? I’ve watched a video where you could rollback through the handy app. But mine wouldn’t.

You have to have the newest firmware 01.05.01.00 to roll back. Is yours an older version ?

If so, update and see what happens.

You can also check the AP-MC cable or unplug and reconnect.

I also received and installed the parts but the error persisted.

The problem has been solved! For my issue, it was the front tool headboard.

Which parts have you replaced? I’ve replaced the tool head cable and the back tool head board. The problem persisted until Bambu sent me all four parts. When I replaced the front tool head board. The issue was gone.

I replaced the Toolhead cable and the Extruder main board (back toolhead board). The problem persisted and support will send me a new MC board.

I I received and installed the new MC-Board, but no change. The error persists.

I have been dealing with this exact issue. Starting from a few days ago it would just be a warning but now it will not print anything at all! This P1P is less than 4 months old!

Since the MC-Board replacement did not solve the problem, Support approved the DOA replacement.

Did you receive your replacement
