Does anyone know if ticking the “Activate Air Filtration” box under “Exhaust Fan” in printer settings has any result on H2D (without the optional air filtration upgrade), and if so - what?
I have used it to get some cooling after print has finished and that seems to work. But I wouldn’t want it to affect the exhaust fan during a print with heated chamber.
It will activate the chamber fan. However, if both this setting and the filament profile enable it—especially with high-temperature materials—the printer can enter a limbo state: it starts the chamber fan while still treating the system as in heating mode, so the fan runs while the top inlet remains closed. I also use it to evacuate the chamber after a print to speed cooling and reduce VOCs.
