Hi all, i have use for the first time adaptive layers and the quality in “ugly” zones is great, but i have had problems with the supports.
I have used tree supports (hybrid auto), i set top and bottom z distance to 0.2, normally i have good results and they are not too difficult to remove, but with adaptive layers able they really stuck to the piece and they have been impossible to remove, trying that i broke the print dragging the stuck part with the supports.
Any advice to correct this mess??, i´m going to try with bambulab supports for pla, i have had really good results and very easy to remove supports, but i would like to know why with “same material as the print” supports has happened that.
Another question, my print failed because i used hybrid tree supports (i suppose hybrid contains organic)??, can i use tree strong supports for example, or are they consider also hybrid??
I have been having the same issue… the model prints great with tree support without adaptive layers and supports are easy to remove… with adaptive layers activated the tree supports are somehow imposible to remove, and in some areas the support is extruded directly into the main build, eventhough I have selected “on build plate only”. No warning at all in the Bambu Studio about tree supports being incompatible with adaptive layes…
