Adavnced Filaments - Refill vs Spooled?

I’ve recently been testing Bambulab PC vs Overture and am a bit irritated that Bambulab does not sell any of the “advanced” filaments such as PC as a refill. I’m now stuck with 4 extra reusable empty spools that I have no use for. Between cost, slow shipping and the fact I cannot buy it as a refill I see no reason to switch to Bambulab PC. What is odd is that the filament core is still cardboard with an RFID tag on it and in fact I’m pretty sure its a refill inserted onto a spool prior to shipping.

What is irritating is that the PC filament page has the “More Eco-Friendly, 20% less plastic waste” banner with the recommendation that “Bambulab encourages customers to use a reusable spool or print their own” just below the filament description.

My suggestion is Bambulab live up to their claim of being more “Eco-Friendly” by giving those who choose to use Bambulab filament the option to buy refills. As for myself, I’m primarily using overture PC by pulling off the cardboard sides and placing it (with a printed adapter) onto a Bambulab reusable spool. Having a few extra spools is fine, but my collection is now getting out of control.
