When arranging material in the machine, I have to wait until I sit down to begin the process of taking a picture.
It would go a lot smoother. With the current setup, every time I want to do a layout, I have to manually take a picture and wait for that cycle to happen before I get to move on.
I would suggest either:
- Add a “take bird’s eye image” button to the screen of the printer (or use the hardware button on top), so that by the time you’re back at your desk, the image is ready
or
- The printer could take a picture preemptively whenever the door is closed. This could be optional, or even have a “cancel image” prompt on the screen, but getting the picture started would speed up my workflow a lot - and for minimal effort on your side.
