Hello! It would be great to have a button to shut off the internal USB or the option to tie in the internal USB port to be shut off with the button that controls the internal light. These options would be beneficial to those of us that power the Bambu light strip from this port.

Unfortunately the hardware is not present on the board to be able to do this.

Is there a known workaround by powering the USB device from somewhere else on the printer? Iād like my strip lights to turn off when the printer is idle but on when something is printing.
Depends on if you use your chamber fan or aux fan. If no to either, wire your lights to them. You will need to step down the voltage but both of these can be controlled independently via software. Just be aware to not pull too much current from them. Better yet, use them to trigger a relay that could control a the lights from a separate power supply. Do also be careful as extra light can cause issues with lidar and the internal camera settings.
