how is it possible to create a custom filament setting - add a custom filament profile with custom names etc.?
I only have the standard settings but no option to create my own profiles?
Pick the generic filament of the appropriate type, modify the settings, and when you click the save icon, it will give you the opportunity to rename it and save as a new profile. Yes, this is kind of a convoluted and unintuitive way to go about it, but that’s the process they’ve chosen for some reason.

Doesn’t Prusaslicer use the same logic? I mean, you need to have some default values when creating a custom filament setting, so I can’t see what is wrong doing it that way.

i never used Prusaslicer, so i didn´t know that.
