Bambu, please consider adding an option in the P1S firmware to disable ABL auto bed leveling on prints started from stored files on the printer screen.
This would be useful to avoid the ABL routine every print and also allow printers that fail ABL but still have a perfectly normal bed to start printing.
I have a P1S that fails ABL 99% of the time because it thinks the bed is misleveled (I’ve tried reinstalling the bed and releveling multiple times). The printer successfully prints any file as long as I disable ABL when printing it from the slicer. Starting the print from a stored file on the screen always tries to run ABL. As a result, I’m forced to start all prints from the slicer because I need to be able to disable ABL in the print job.
Also, an option to set the AMS mapping for filaments so I can choose to start a print job from an AMS slot besides slot 1 using the printer screen would allow users to not rely on the slicer for that.
With the P1S moving towards not getting any updates or new features in the future, it would be great to make the P1S more usable to users as a standalone printer that does not require the slicer to do typical tasks like configuring timelapse, ABL, and AMS mapping.
