Add Part to another fails

Hi…

i always need to use Prusaslicer before i can print files with multiple parts…

My expected workflow (working on all Superslicer-based slicer):

You add a file to your printbed… Here - a case
Now you want to add a second part - the letters:

• right mouse click - add part - load
  select the file you want - here its the text

And now the problem… In Prusaslicer the text part fits right where it was exportet. Perfect aligned. In Bambu Studio its deeper than the first part and far away.

It would be nice if that could be fixed. It’s a Day 1 Problem and now i think it should be solved

Did you ever try to load both files at once (drag and drop)?

Then you have two not connected parts… If i move the case, the letters are still there. Thats not what i want and how its meant to be…

Tried it, and it works as idended:

→ choose yes.

You see that BS respect the original position as it was exported from the CAD-program.
To move the whole part you have to select the Group-item:

Otherwise you can select individual items by selecting them and move them around.

Another solution (which I normally prefer): if you have designed the part by yourself and it is possible export the whole part as 3mf. Individual bodies are conserved within their respective space and you have only one file to deal with.

Yes, you are right, this works…

Hmm has the disadvantage that i need all files at once but for now thats a workaround.
