Add Primative to list

Regarding “add primitive”, you can right-click, choose “Add Primitive”, follow the arrow and either choose from what’s within the default list/contents.

My question is if there’s a way to change what’s within that default list, or for you to choose a personal folder on your computer to associate/pull-from, in order to populate that list?

I know I could just have that folder open, or shortcut whatever, and drag-and-drop to the build plate… but was wondering if we could either add-to that list, or just replace where it pulls-from?

I supposed it’s kind of like “6, and 1/2 dozen or the other” as far as which way you choose, yet was wanting to stay within BambuStudio as much as I could for things like that…

(I’m still making my way through the numerous articles here, have searched and didn’t find anything like my question)

There is a work around.

Did you know? Built-in Benchy primitive!

Did some digging around, and initial findings are as follows: You can replace the .STL files in the directory: Bambu Studio\resources\model You must match their naming conventions with this workaround. So for example, remove the original STL’s and store them for safe keeping. Insert new model files with the same exact names. It’ll be confusing. There are probably some configs to see if we can populate the menu with new items but I doubt it’ll be something I hunt hard for. My workflow doesn’t…

I appreciate the work around you laid out, it’ll work for now and guess I may not have considered that, and how many other configs would need to change.
