please add Snapmaker Artisan to Bambu Studio.
completely agree. this would be to use one software for both printers.
Welcome to the forum.
You can add a 3rd party printer to Bambu Studio. Just follow the wiki steps.
Hi,
I’d like to share the way I used to add my Snapmaker A350 to Bambu Studio.
Since Bambu Studio is based on Orca, start by installing Orca, which supports natively all Snapmaker 3D printers. Once installed, configure it for your Snapmaker printer, and I recommend you test it to ensure the connectivity works. I didn’t mention you need Octoprint to interface with you printer.
Once everything works, close Orca and close Bambu Studio, browse to “C:\Program Files\OrcaSlicer\resources\profiles” and copy the folder “Snapmaker” to “C:\Program Files\Bambu Studio\resources\profiles”. Then copy the file “Snapmaker.json” from the first folder to the second.
That’s it, start Bambu Studio and under “Printer”, pull down the menu and click “–Select/Remove printers(system presets)”, wait for the list of printers to populate and you will now see all the Snapmaker models. Select yours and you’re done. Configure the communication to Octoprint.
Happy printing!
It looks like this method is now blocked. If I try and create a new printer, I see the Snapmaker 250 and 350 but no U1. Way to go out of your way Bambu.
Thanks for this tips, but just for accuracy

- PrusaSlicer is based on Slic3r.
Can also be mentioned that :
