It would be awesome if we could paint where we want fuzzy skin just like painting for color or supports instead of using modifiers.

I use Fuzzy skin since i remember and for some models it turns out great. As a reminder, it also strains the toolhead and belts more than usual because of the small constant movements. A price to pay in the long run

A good example where i used Fuzzy skin to recreate texture is in the bellow model. I even uploaded real close pictures so that the effect can be seen in all it’s glory and with all defects visible :grinning:

I already use it.

This model uses it to make the ice cream more ice cream like. I have a few in this family that benefit from it.

Is there a way/guideline to optimize fuzzy skin on overhangs? I think in my case fuzzy skin works great at overhangs of around 60deg, but anything lower than that and it’s start messing with the outside wall structure.

Angled fuzzy skin is hard due to the way it is built up.

It is the action of moving the line being formed by essentially zip-zagging beyond the outer surface line.

It makes extreme angles hard as they have little to sit on due to support being hard without it accidentally blending with the model.

I have used the tried and test, trial and error.
