I’m writing this, because one of my very first print profiles on this site were taken down. It was removed because of the addition of “fast and precise” in its name (full profile name was “150% Fast and Precise @ 0.6mm nozzle, 0.24mm layer height”) and it was uploaded on September 13th - this is important, because the updated guidelines that prohibited
- Using misleading phrases such as “Best, Top, Official” in model or print listing
were not yet in place back then.
After I received the report, I immediately wanted to change the name of the profile in order to align it with the community guidelines - however, it was not possible to rename it anymore.
I tried appealing this issue, stating I was not able to rename it myself and showed evidence that the profile was well-received and also was the only one of its kind, but I was simply given the same explanation again - misleading phrases are not allowed.
I can’t imagine I’m the only one having this issue, so please add the functionality to rename a taken-down profile in order to be able to appeal properly.
In my case, the appeal was “wasted” because I simply couldn’t change the name, before someone looked into it and immediately closed it again.
