I struggled with this forever on Mac. Once I made the “installation” change in Font Book, fonts rendered correctly in Bambu Studio. Thanks Dylo!
How did you do this: “installation” change
I followed @JJTechPrints instructions above and still not working for me. I see the font in BS, but its just generic. I put the font file in both libray folders on my mac
Here’s my overpass font test file. If you followed my steps above, I’d suggest making sure you closed all instances of Bambu Studio, and perhaps restart your computer for good measure.

If you open FontBook and go to settings (⌘,) you’ll see an “Installation” menu. Change the default install location to “All Users”.
After I did that, I removed the fonts I had previously installed for use in Bambu Studio (deleted in FontBook). I then opened the fonts I wanted to add to Bambu Studio in FontBook, which installs the fonts on the Mac. I restarted Bambu Studio and they functioned as expected!
The good thing about this method is that the “Installation” change affects Font installation for anything you add in the future. Meaning, once you make this change you’ll never have to worry about it again (and fonts will behave correctly in Bambu Studio)!!!
Thank you so much! This worked perfectly.
This! I had already done everything else but didn’t see the “install for all users” then your post made me look again and it was under “show more options”. Restarted and its working! Thank you!
