I would like to add additional lighting inside my X1 carbon but realize that may well interfere with the lidar. Can any users report findings in the real world? Have you added additional lighting on top of the camera LED strip? If so, any trouble?
I have a LED bar just resting on top of the glass top. There are some interesting full-frame lighting solutions that you can print to make it a bit nicer, especially with an AMS on top. I recommend any additional lighting be external to the chamber.
Put a switch on it so that you turn it on after initial calibration/first layer inspection is completed and I think you can leave it on the full time. spaghetti detection has still worked for me with the extra lighting (not that it happens that much 
)
