I expected the quality of the prints to be at least as good as the ones my P1S does. That things works without one single issue for over a year now. I only have to keep the plate somewhat clean and it delivers. Perfect first layers and every problem I had was my mistake. During the time I had the H2D it did 3 prints. A kind of ok benchy, a statue and the flexi panda. All the xx others prints were test prints to fix an issue. On top of that, bad quality control. Several things on that printer were assembled wrong and i had to fix them.
I bought mine the morning of the release, cant be happier or more impressed with the machine.
Its not even approximately close to 12 months.
Infact its 8, and in those 8 Bambu has already release H2S, Announced H2C which if im not wrong will also be available at around the 10 month mark of H2D life, and P2S.
That, along with the fact that we have been waiting for months for a single FIX update, not even a full one, should tell you a lot.
I’ve been on the fence purchasing one myself. I’ve almost purchased one for myself too many times to count, but always backed out at the end. I’m not so brave to be an early adopter even though I think the H2D is really fun printer. My responsible side always tells me to wait. I did the same thing with the X1C before finally jumping on that boat.
Well fortunately my work decided we needed a 3D printer and so we purchased an H2D a month ago. We had a bunch of first layer and adhesion issues at first, but that ended up being due to wet filament and a dirty build plate. From the factory the build plate had very inconsistent adhesion across the plate. It works fine now, but I had to scrub the ■■■■ out of it many times with dish soap until water would sheet off as one sheet instead of having various spots where it would “stick”.
So outside of the issues mentioned above and my coworker dorking up his model that caused one of the prints to fail and bend the nozzle blocker, there hasn’t been any other problems. I’ll be purchasing one for myself after I see what this H2C is all about on the 18th.
Well to round off this thread I finally decided to take the plunge and my H2D Combo arrived yesterday. It was shipped very quickly and arrived within 2days being sent from Sydney to Melbourne.
Observations:
It was very well packed and suggest the BL unboxing video is a must watch. It gave a pretty good overview of how to remove the extensive transport packing material with many screws. I noted that my printer had some additional packing compared to the video and removal around printer head cables and z axis rods at the rear was also required. Surprisingly a red labeled locking screw at the lower rear of the machine shown in the video was absent on my machine.
Build Quality Pretty much spot on - its a class product!
Calibration: A bit nerve racking not quite knowing if all was well after pressing the Go button… But it went smoothly with some interesting noises whilst tuning the motor noise cancelation. 31 minutes later it was ready for the first print.
AMS installation: The only slight hitch was getting the filament to feed properly. The issue was I hadn’t seated the feeder tube deep enough into the AMS. Once adjusted. it worked fine.
First Print: I selected the Benchy from the screen display options and sat back in amazement at the speed and quietness of the machine. I couldn’t quite believe it no adhesion issues no first layer issues and a near perfect print using eSun PLA.
In summary, a very encouraging classic BL unboxing experience and impressive first print. Exactly what I had hoped for!
Now it’s time to do some more demanding stuff. From my experience the H2D is in fact safe to buy and has so far met all expectations.

No I purchased direct from BL as I wanted to take advantage of the BL sale and included quite a few accessories. I thought the BL warehouse was Melbourne but turned out to be Sydney. And I noted dealers were not generally offering the same deal.
