Agressive warping - plate warping too

Hi guys. How are you? I am Leo, from Brazil. After a lot of money expedend, a lot of credit card limits exceededs, I finally have bought three X1C printers. Here in Brazil it coasts a 16,000 brazilian real. It is almost a year of salary to buy each printer. Yeahhh, it sucks to live in this place…

Well, lets get to the point. I am having a lot of warping using ABS, PC and PA (nylon). I tried a lot of things: I raised the temperature of bed. I tried to heat chamber 30 minutes (until 51 celcius) before printing… Used a better glue. Then I remove the Cool Plate and the turn the Enginnering plate thinner. I used some printed clips to hold the plate on heated bed… Nothing… I tried everything that I saw on the foruns, facebook and so on… And… For large pieces of ABS, PC and PA it is impossible to print.

I tried with Enginnering plate, Cool plate, High temp plate and black Pei plate. I don’t tried with gold pei, because didn’t arrived here in Brazil yet…

Someone has tried another advanced tecnique?

Welcome here! See Large ASA prints warping which has info not necessarily limited to ASA.

You didn’t mention any settings you’re using. Have you tried a raft? How do you let things cool off, etc.

Something to consider is carbon fiber or glass fiber infused filament. Not for the strength but for the reduced warping. I know it costs more…

I’ve been contemplating a glass plate, but I think in the end one has to figure out how to relieve the stresses during printing otherwise they will do that over time afterwards somehow.
