Aliexpress 2.0 and 3.0 Hotend for Bambu

hello everyone with these two hotends that I bought on ali express I would like to understand one thing, do I need to use some precise settings?

But if I install hotend 3.0, what settings do you have to use in bambustudio? Do I need to create a new preset?
Hai mai provato la 3.0 di ali express e spettacolare ?

I speak for this hotend

:boom:

Set the correct nozzle size, calibrate the filament and that’s it…

Though i see a couple or so of positive comments, i wouldn’t implicitly trust anything sold on Aliexpress that claims to be a perfect (or the long awaited) aftermarket accessory that BL had failed to put out there. Furthermore, knowing first hand how the online selling platforms rating “works” I wouldn’t even look at the ratings unless these are plenty and from various locations and in diverse languages…and even then, I’d look closely at the lowest existing ratings and compare them to find out which are the recurring issues. I never look above 3-4 star ratings… what I’m interested in is to find out why there are 1 and 2 star ratings, then will conduct my own pre-acquisition due diligence before spending any money. If the due diligence turns out good, I check to see if I can find it near my area (for warranty and or post sales support) then decide whether i buy or not. My 2 (euro)cents.

but this product works great

It may be so, as you say, there’s no dispute from my side. Or you might be the exception that enforces the rule of thumb… It doesn’t change what and how I think of aliexpress and those using it to sell there (not that I view or treat the sellers on Amazon, or similar platforms, any differently).

Hello,
I recently got the “upgraded” P1S hotend with 0.4 nozzle and installed it after my original one failed… first print was ABS piece and it all went well, but next print was multicolor PLA and then it started to cause some (serious) problems - the printer couldnt retract filament and load next one. It got stuck, and the error message was filament stuck or bla something. I had to disassemble the extruder module to get out the stuck piece. Tried two different PLA filaments, same result - the clog was inside the extruder. The filament was cut as supposed to, and then it made a “blob” inside the extruder. I reckon that heatbreak is not working as intended, and the filament is still soft enough to deform inside the extruder assembly. I will try to put some thermal compaund on the heatbreak but Im not so sure that will yield a much better result. Does anybody here have any experience with this “upgraded” hotend? In the meantime I installed new original and printer is printing flawlessly with the same “problematic” PLA filaments… any info greatly appreciated, thank you
