All axis out of alignment after new heat element install

After a massive clog, I replaced the heating element and have had massive issues ever since.

When performing bed level and tool head cleaning, the nozzle strikes the plate far too hard.

At the back of the plate, the rub to remove excess filament happens in front of the slot, and pushes hard enough to move the entire bed down several millimeters. Likewise the nozzle is several centimeters off position when attempting to wipe on the brush strip.

When printing, the nozzle is clearly too high, leaving strings of filament instead of solid prints.

I replaced the hot end thinking it may have also been damaged, but no luck. I have also reset to factory defaults hoping to get it back to normal. Nothing seems to be working.

Anyone have any ideas?

Did you run the calibration routine after reassembling the heating element?

It sounds like your belt skipped a couple teeth? I had this issue on an old Replicator 2X (which was garbage btw). I’m sorry I don’t know how to assist other than suggesting a calibration - it might reset the motor positions (I don’t know how it works though, sorry!)

I did, everything seemed to function correctly on the calibration routine
