I just joined the forum for exactly this.
It’s March 2026 now, so it has been 3 years, any update on requirement ID BBL001-4595 ?
From an IT point of view it seems like it should be a very trivial change 
I’m beginning to think the BL philosophy is becoming “never give the customer what they want”.
(edit… someone has no sense of humor and also has not been paying attention.)

I’d also like to be able to remap AMS slots on painted objects
+1 from my side. Logging in here just to add this feature request as well.
I know the manual workaround of just switching spools manually and “tricking” the AMS/Printer but it would be much better to specify the backup order during the slicing already for overnight prints.
