The aux fan control is not possible through the screen nor through the app when it is heating mode. It is possible through slicer filament profile settings.
I understand that the aux fan is generally not used on filaments that use the heating mode but there are times where it is useful to be able to control it. It seems like an unnecessary precaution to lock this feature out.
For example - if I want the chamber to heat up faster (and it takes quite a while to get it to 65!), it will be useful to be able to blow air across a plate that’s been warmed up to 120 deg.
I’ve encountered another odd issue: after a print finishes, I use the exhaust fan to vent the chamber. However, the fan can only be turned off by first switching to cooling mode. It would be very helpful if a timer function were available to automatically shut down the fans after a set period. As it stands, the only option is to walk over to the printer and manually switch to cooling mode.
Yes! This and independent control of the heater fan as well. The heater fan turns off when the print is finished, but I’d like to turn it back on so it can continue to scrub the air in the chamber for a bit before I open up the door.
