Allow printer to remember multiple WiFi networks

Hi,

I move my A1 Mini a lot to conventions, repair coffes, home and friends and family places.
The printer is only able to remember a single network and I had to setup the WiFi everytime I move which is a pain.
As of now, I found a workaround by making a hotspot with my phone whenever I’m on the go but It’s not ideal. I can’t be too far from it or the app won’t connect and my data plan might not be ideal for this use. Not to mention poor connectivity in certain locations.

I wish it could at least remember a handfull of locations and let me delete or add new ones depending on the need. Something akin to how the DS or 3DS handled wifi networks.

Cheers,

Get something like a GliNet Beryl Travel Router. I use one when I’'m travelling in my camper. It’s a smart router that remembers all your connections and outputs its own WiFi connection. You connect your printer to that new Wifi connection. If you go to a new location, just add a new input connection and you still connect to the same output Wifi. It’s also great for hotel to share a single WiFi source. It’s less than $100. You can even have it connect to your Home Wifi.

Thanks for the tip. :+1:

Thanks for the tip but that defeats the purpose of a software update and doesn’t solve the issue of poor data connection while introducing more problems like encumbrance and the need for an another power outlet. At that rate keeping my phone around as a hotspot is way better.

Ideally the printer firmware would receive an update that allows it to switch networks depending on the closest available in the list.
