Hello everyone. I got my X1C just about a month ago, and now it’s time for maintenance. Since Super Lube 92003 is hard to get where I live right now, I started wondering about alternatives. Some folks on YouTube are suggesting this one: https://atf.ru/en/production/efele/materialy-s-pishchevymi-dopuskami/plastichnaya-smazka-efele-sg-391-food-line/ — but I’m still not sure. It would be great to get a second (or third, or gazillionth) opinion. I tried googling it, but without success.
Also for linear i’m considering use 5w light fork oil liqui moly. I would be happy to hear your thoughts about it.

Do a google for “Ball Screw Lubrication” and make a choice. There are lubrications that are specifically designed for ball screws like in the printer.
Any “lightweight” lubricant will work fine. You don’t need to use grease, oils work fine, too. The only thing you have to keep in mind with oil is that you might need to reapply some at some point, where grease won’t “migrate” over time.
I use plain old automotive 10-W-30 oil for the screws on my CNC machine, and a grease specifically for ball screws on my X1C (but I had the grease already, since my Formlabs Form3 SLA printer has a ball screw driven X axis).

Thank you. I think this is the answer I was looking for. This SG391 is suitable for rolling and sliding bearings, which is basically what a ball screw is.
