Alternative way to find Printer access code, my P1s Screen died

P1S… working before… but the unit came off the anti vibe feet, and in the chaos the screen got hit and quit… I am able to use the printer via the mac software and it all works except the screen…

i just bought a panda screen to keep going while I wait for a replacement, but I need the printer access code…

how can I find it without the use of the mini screen? some config file someplace? ideas?

The first line in the config file is the Serial number of the machine, then the Access code.
In windows, this is found under c:\ user\username\appdata\roaming\bambustudio\then bambustudio.cfg. Write this down, do not change anything, do not write anything to the config file!
I’m not familiar with MAC software, but you can see the config file contents with a file reader such as notepad in windows, just don’t write anything to the file, remember, READ ONLY

I discovered that there will be numerous config files stored in the bambu folder, one per each time studio was opened. Just don’t change anything, just read.

Im sorry, I stumbled upon the answer so thought I would share

if you go to help menu of Bambu Program, there is an option fo going to Config folder… in there the Bambulab config at the very bottom of the file is the printer seriial codes if its paired, and next to it the 8 digit access code… hope that helps someone… took me several hours to find it.

Yup, you are correct, I tried it. I found this the hard way as described above --Your way is safer, and a whole lot quicker!
