AMS 2 Pro Non Bambu Filament Rubbing on Feeder Housing

Hi,

I am a bit confused by this. I have both a roll of Extrudr PETG and Fillamentum ASA with 200mm Diameter. It fits the AMS and could be fed but the Filament itself seems to be touching /rubbing the Feeder Housing. Sadly I have no Bambu roll currently for comparison as they are stuck in shipping.

Is this normal? It seems like a weird limitation to me to have the housing stick in the actual 200mm diameter of the spool

Depending on how tightly/neatly wound the filament is governs the actual diameter. I had a spool of BL ABS so loosely wound that hit the feeder.
