I say in an interview that the AMS 2 Pro has a method to calculate amount of remaining fillaments using the RFIDs and spinnig it. I cant see anywhere on the H2D sceen this data. Is it not implemented yet ?
There’s a white bar above the Bambu filaments you have loaded when you select your AMS on the screen
I dont see it. All of these are Bambu. The black is at about 1/4 full

On Bambu Studio they look like this.
Do you have it turned on in the AMS options? It’s listed as “Update remaining capacity”.
3DTech beat me to it lol
Great screenshot showing the filament level. ![]()
Ah! I didnt even know there are AMS settings! Thanks!
A bit strange it’s not on by default
but a bit of an indication of estimated meters or gram would be intrestring
agreed. The estimate bar isn’t that useful if I’m trying to dial in exactly how big that one last print should be to maximize a roll of filament.
How come mine doesn’t show the update remaining capacity option? Just the other 3.
Same for me on X2D with AMS 2 Pro. Only 3 options, but no “Update remaining capacity”. Why might this be?
Same for me, option isnt there, and spools not updating properly,
Whilst I have not been able to find a weight display in Bambu Studio, if you use the Bambu Handy app, you can view an estimated weight indication. Go to the device tab in the Bambu Handy app and scroll down to the bottom to find the option “Filament Library”. Tap that and it will show you how much filament you have loaded with an apparent resolution of 10g. It will even tot up filament of the same type/colour.
Unfortunately I’m a new user to this forum so I can’t upload a screen grab, but if someone else could that would be super ![]()
