Good morning, I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I am in the middle of a 30 hour print (ok, in the last 4 hours) and the left most slot in my AMS 2 Pro stopped functioning.
The rest of the three slots appear to be working fine, as the print finished another layer when I adjusted slot 1 and thought it was good to go and told the printer to continue.
However, when it tried to load the filament from slot 1 it just ‘whirred’ for about 15 - 20 seconds and then threw the error.
I took the AMS 2 Pro apart, took out the hub and made sure it was cleaned out, then put everything back together.
When I loaded the filament into slot 1 the same thing happened. I was able to push the filament (manually) all of the way to the nozzel in the printer, but then it retracted, but did not roll up properly on the spool. It just spit out into the AMS body.
I think that there is something wrong with the feed motor in slot 1, but I’d like to hear what you folks have to say, and if there is any way I might be able to save my print.
