Running an H2D with AMS-HT on the left nozzle and an AMS Pro attached to the right. When drying filament, I keep getting the error “AMS A uses printer power for drying during loading / printing. For better drying performance, please connect a power adapter.
Problem is that there is a Bambu power adapter that is registering the proper voltage.
Is anyone else having the same issue? Not sure whether the AMS Pro is wonky or the Bambu power supply is underpowered.
As stated in my original post “I keep getting the error”. If the error cleared up the first time it happened, I would not be engaging helpful forum members.
Yup, been there, done that. I even powered down all the electronics, reset the ups and reseated the power connectors. Im suspecting a bad transformer or APS Pro at this time. I was hoping for a firmware bug of some sort so I don’t have to deal with the exchange process. Thanks for the helpful reminder.
I would open up a support ticket. Seems There is a hardware problem somewhere. Might even be the power adapter itself, because measuring the correct voltage without load, is not a full guarantee that it functioning correctly.
Having the exact same error I’m going to try swapping out my power supply as it’s still within the return window from Amazon. I’m running an H2d as well but the odd thing is the power supply seemed to work just fine when it was plugged into a different ams2 pro unit and a p2s a week or so ago I really hope I don’t have to open a ticket with Bambu or return the hole printer and ams to best buy .
