AMS acting unexpectedly after print fail

This has happened 3 times. Print failed and reported build plate was installed incorrectly. Re-seated the build plate and tried to print again. The AMS acts “bonkers” and I get a message saying can’t communicate to the AMS or the AMS is acting unexpectedly. Turn the printer off and back on and all works fine. Happens every time on print fail.

I dont know what a platen is but i just had to replace my data cable to my AMS. That fixed my communication problems.

Sorry, showing my age. Should be ‘build plate’.

I have had a few fails, and had to stop the print. I fpund the ams stays loaded with the filament so I just select the one that is loaded and click unload. So far that has taken care of my issue might give it a try nextime.

Thank you! I’ll give it a shot.
