AMS and Bambu filament - wrong color shown in AMS overview on printer

Hi!

I have a strange effect when loading a Bambu filament spool. If I put in ie. a roll of green PLA, the AMS recognizes it correctly, but if you go to the printer’s filament menu where you can see the four rolls besides each other, it always shows a black color for that roll. BUT, if you then open the details for that roll, the color is shown correctly and also if you sync via BambuStudio.

Did anybody notice the same?

Regards,
Holger

Just sync. I’ve never had a persistent problem like that. Usually a quick resync does the trick.

I think you misunderstood. I don’t talk about the filament display in BambuStudio, which is absolutely correct even in my case, I talk about the AMS menu on the printer itself. It simply shows the wrong color, at least on my machine…

Oh oh. Yes, I’ve had that happen before. Usually if you “reload” the filament and it’s RFID, it will update. Not always though. I find that sometimes you unfortunately have to remove the entire spool, shutdown the printer, and restart it, then reload.

Ah ok! So I am not the only one  ! Perhaps I try that gettherolloutoftheAMS-shutdown thing at times… Thank you
