I thought my “brittle filament” problems were behind me with sealed AMS units (2). Both have desiccant keeping the humidity south of 20%.
But, as luck would have it, two spools of filament shattered leaving me with a retraction issue.
The solution was to remove the AMS guts, and strip out the broken filament.

Funny side note. When I removed those two back screws from the AMS guts… they somehow disappeared! I looked everywhere.
But… Bambu has you covered. Check your spare parts bag. You will find a couple spare screws! Nicely played Bambu!
