I’ve been seeing quite a few posts about feed/retract issues with the AMS.
I’m thinking that the gear at the AMS is too weak and that if there were another feeder, like between the top port and the exit of the hub/filament buffer that it could boost the movement enough to support the filament. The direct drive extruder once it gets filament seems to be able to pull the filament. Not sure if the AMS is assisting at all.
Maybe this would be a good use of the extra filament buffers I have. Thoughts??
