I kind of know what AMS Blacklist Check is but if someone can explain in more detail what exactly it does that would be great.

Adjusting the wheel pressure so the filament will rather slip than grind - or go wherever…
In my extruder the screw for the tension is about 5mm out as I don’t like chewing up filament when things go wrong.
The short answer is that it’s the check for certain filament types that are known to create significant challenges when fed through the AMS. Think soft TPU filament as an example. A filament that’s challenging to print and when used in the AMS is prone to blockages and jams that are not fun to clear. But for those that want to experiment at their own risk, it’s a choice you can make.
