Hi do we know if there is a redesigned ams that prevents the cracking / breaking roller supports? I contacted support and they sent me a replacement internal shell to swap out but its the same version that is susceptible to the breaking and cracking.

How long did it take you to get the replacement? How easy or difficult was it to get them to replace? I just submitted a support ticket for this same thing today.
Had the same thing. Got a new AMS cause of broken roller and an additional break at the bottom.
Support told me now, I dont need to add the fix from the wiki to strengthen the roller supports. They told me as well, if I would glue them into the AMS I cant replace the rollers anymore when needed in future.
But cause my first AMS broke after a few days I am scared, it will break again. There is no difference between the old and the new one.
What to do now?

you just install it and hopely the ams wont break
there are plenty of ams systems that work fine , but there are sadly also a few that do break ( more then expected )
at some point you get a new version if the old version breaks, but as long that new version is not avaible you are “stuck” to the old version and hopely the replacement fix the problem that the old one has ( also called a hit or miss )
positive thing is if in case it does break again in waranty time that you can get it replaced
Is this still an issue with AMS sold in 2024 or have the AMS been improved at some point? Otherwise I would also take care of installing the reinforcements if still necessary.
Does no one know, if they improved the design? 
Welcome to the forum! The number of actual AMS revisions there have been is difficult to find. I’ve seen claims as few as four and as many as seven. Judging by the date of these posts I’m thinking this was still V1 or V2. One of the many things they have changed is how the rollers are supported, and I haven’t seen anyone have one crack in quite a while. You should be good to go with one sold in 2024.
