I have a P1P I bought right after they were released. I added an AMS a few weeks ago. Printer is only running offline, not connected to Bambu Studio/Handy. I was running a print with multiple spools of Hatchbox PLA. The main color ran out, and the printer paused. However, I could not get it to restart after loading a new spool. What is the correct procedure?
My one gots also a few problems but not your one and own a X1C.
I had to registered the Bambu Lab Studio and the printer got all the updates intermidatly. Since then, everything has been clear. I also delete the mobile app and my printer is also permanently offline since, I don’t like no permanent surfer connections at all either. but if i think about printer updates from the competitiors used before, I prefer the registration 1000 times over. Apart from the fact that you get permanent updates for the problems and are not left out in the rain after the sale.
Remember as well, if you already download the program and install it on the PC, you have to trust Bambulab IT since you will do that with the administrator rights on your PC… Think when you’re ready taking this risk, a one-time short registration to get the updates is possibly not a bad idea at all. However, i also can undestand if you do not like to register at all.
If you are very concerned about shielding devices from others, the TP-Link SafeStream TL-ER7206 might be something for you. You can connect up to 3 routers from Internet provider to it and create as many shielded networks as you want. Of course, than you can not only run on IP 192.168.0.1 then you also need subnetworks like 192.168.1.1 / 192.168.2.1 and so on. And even old, useless mobile phones can install apps and do not need a CIM card for it…
Thanks for the reply. I will see if I can get that updated.
Hope it will eliminate your headache and you can enjoy your purchase ![]()
