AMS has failed flashing red lights

Hi, I have four flashing red lights according to the wiki its:

Error status. The slot failed to load or unload the filament. The filament is detected by both the feeder and the filament Hub. The filament is outside the AMS

Unfortunately that’s as clear as mud. The AMS is not detected by the A1

Any way to fix this?

It’s great Bambi provide this level of detail but I purchased one for ease of use. Diagnosing electrics was not in that remit.

There is no filament in the ams at the moment so the error is as clear as mud.

I have tried to fill out a technical ticket. What a mess it’s almost like they want to make it as hard as possible.

FWIW if I load filament it gets pulled into each slot just fine.

Then make sure you have it plugged into the correct port at the back of the printer

I’m a little confused and maybe I missed something in the email trail. It is it an AMS or an AMS Lite? I see you are using an A1 so I’m assuming it is an AMS Lite.

Yes ams lite. I have tried both sockets not sure what the difference is but it’s been working fine since November

Then your best bet is support and uploading a log file , try reaching them from maker`s supply tab

This may be way out in left field but I haven’t come across it before. My AMS lite is a fair distance from the A1 so I had to lengthen the PTFE tubes and connector cable. All of a sudden, everything stopped working. I went through what seemed like countless “fixes” and nothing worked. Don’t ask me what made me think that changing the nozzle would do anything, but it did. Think it may help?

Bambu have been providing good support and sent me a new main board and cable for the AMS lite, however its still flashing red.

I have been able to use the main printer without issue thank god, but between it and the AMS lite its no go.

Whilst I don’t mind scrabbling around trying to be a technical, I think at some point they will have to look at it or the printer themselves, I am simply not qualified. The instructions sent for replacing the main board were incomplete.
