I’ll let you in on a secret… That filament isn’t free to ship. It is just baked into the price, as people love “free” shipping.

I guess it’s easier for them as their shipping system is really not optimized. I ordered the AMS HT and added the 4in1 splitter for about €4. This did not increase the shipping cost of €15 but still as the AMS HT will not ship before May 20th and the splitter is available, they just sent me the splitter NOW. I don’t care about it, I could have waited but they will pay more to ship it than the cost of the splitter itself, crazy. They could even have shipped it in an envelope by Deutsche Post but no, DHL is delivering it!
Canada its May 22 shipping as well, I ordered at 8:05am. I think its kind of silly too to state a time and date it will be available, just to open up pre-orders. They could have taken our pre-orders when the printers went live.
shipping is mid June (Germany). Maybe I’ll forget I ordered it and be pleasantly surprised when it arrives

I ordered immediately when the notification made me aware of the availability. Later I noticed there was a discount “THANKSMOM”, so I ordered again.
In both cases the confirmation message said May 20. Berlin (Germany).

dose anyone know how the ams ht will work with the a1 if it has a six pin connector.
There will be an A1 specific hub (or just buffer?) to interface the 4 pin and 6 pin cables, like the X/P machines
