I just bought an AMS HT for higher drying temps and am planning to print a mount for it (so it is elevated next to the AMS2Pro that lives on top of my printer).
Does anyone know how high the outside of the AMS HT gets while drying? My current riser is PETG with a heat deflection temp of 65-75 C, so I want to know whether the outside (side and/or bottom) of the AMS HT can get that hot while running at max drying temps.
If it stays below 65 C, I can print the mount from PETG. Otherwise I probably need to use ASA (and possibly reprint the riser).
For reference, 65 C causes near instantaneous severe burns to skin, so if you can touch your AMS HT then it probably isn’t that high (where you touched).
Should be fine, i touched the AMS HT of a friend a while ago while it dried at 85c and while it was quite warm, it was far from causing any kind of harm.

I concur from my own HT experience. The outside definitely doesn’t get anywhere near burn levels. When drying at 85°C the outside is warm but not hot. I even put a thick old towel over the top to help insulate and it can still be touched safely. Or, well, I used to… don’t dry in the HT anymore, but that’s another story… 
Anecdotally, I see lots of stands/risers posted here even printed in PLA, with no reports of failure. Personally I just use wire shelving.

If the design has some slack - some extra thickness - most of the bracket won’t reach 65 so PETG can be ok with a 65 degree exterior.
